 My Review:

The Quilted Heart Omnibus by Mona Hodgson is three novellas in one. It contains Dandelions on the Wind, Bending Toward the Sun and Ripples Along the Shore.  The book is available in both paperback and eBook formats and is priced at $10.99 for paperback and $8.29 for the eBook at ChristianBook.com.

These three short stories are quick reads. They are all about three women in the same quilting circle and how they bond with each other and how their friendships help change their lives. They are each coming from their own past’s full of disappointments and hardships. They each have to learn to trust God with their future’s.  They are all learning to love God and move forward after the effects of the Civil War has changed the face of the nation.

I recommend this if you are looking for a light read. Mona has a good way of weaving three stories into one as if they all were one big story. I did enjoy this and it was a change from some of the “heavier” topics I have been reading about in my personal reading time.  I really enjoyed the story and how it developed without having to take too long to read. It was exactly what I needed.
